ABOUT

Tristan Reed is a cinematic storyteller, multimedia producer, project manager, and the first BFA Cinematic Arts graduate of Indiana University. His career is dedicated to the craft of entertaining and informing audiences through multiple forms of media. His recent achievements include the award-winning short film The Black Sphere and the found-footage horror feature The Depths, starring the Oscar-nominated Eric Roberts.

Outside of narrative filmmaking, Reed also holds extensive marketing experience from Indiana University's Communications & Marketing department. His time here involved capturing and editing various diverse voices for premieres on the university's media platforms. Notable projects worked on in this department include the award-winning documentary series AAAMC Speaks (African American Archives of Music and Culture), classical music videos, department interviews.

Reed is also experienced in other avenues such as event management and project planning. His time as an Assistant Director with Union Board Films and Entertainment found him organizing film-related events: an early screening of the hit horror film Barbarian and a Q&A with "The Office" star Leslie David Baker. From there, the Heartland International Film Festival recognized his talents in analyzation where he assisted in organizing thousands of film submissions for Oscar-qualifying film programs.

When Reed is not producing content or managing creative teams, he spends his time with family and friends and absorbing various forms of media.
