Multimedia Producer

Indiana University Communications & Marketing February 2022 - August 2023

As a multimedia intern, I worked within the media department of the Office of the Provost.  My work included editing, photography, videography, transcribing, data management, etc.  The main focus of the department was to capture the many faces, events, and stories that were on the Indiana University campus.  Outside of that, my responsibilities also included working on the AAAMC Speaks documentary series (Archives of African American Music & Culture), a series based on the stories and legacy of African American  music through the foundation of archival materials.

Film Programming Intern

Heartland International Film Festival January 2023 - August 2023

As a film programming intern, I assisted the executives of the Heartland Film Festival with organizing and analyzing the thousands of film submissions across narrative, documentary, and animated shorts and features.  My work included data management, and curating academy-award qualifying film programs.

Assistant Director

Union Board Films & Entertainment January 2022 - March 2023

As the Assistant Director of Union Board Films & Entertainment, I help assist the two co-directors of the department with tasks including submission and approval processes for film showings, record keeping, and overall planning for the many events put on for students and faculty at Indiana University.  Most recent and notable events I worked on in this position include:

- An advanced screening of the horror film Barbarian, followed by a Q&A with producer Danny Chan

- A career panel with The Office star Leslie David Baker

    • This short film follows a young man in the midst of grief who is tasked with helping an alien find his spaceship.  This project aims to visualize how we can become aware of our broken spirits and take responsibility to fix them.

    • An episode of IU’s AAAMC Speaks (African American Archives of Music and Culture) that follows Vincent and Reggie’s musical career through the magic of archival material.

    • A series of interviews that spotlights IU Ventures' intention of bringing students closer to the opportunities presented in the world of venture capital.​

  • Mies in Indiana - Roles: Grip & Editor

    • Featured in the “Mies in Indiana” exhibition at Grunwald Gallery, this video is meant to showcase the newly installed building and show off it’s unique architecture.

  • Granfalloon Music Festival 2022-23 – Roles: Videographer & Photographer

    • A music festival in Bloomington, IN meant to capture the artistic culture of the town.  Notable artists covered include Car Seat Headrest, Japanese Breakfast​, Flaming Lips, etc.

  • IUB Talking 2030 Series – Roles: Grip & Editor

    • A short video series of appointed professionals across Indiana University’s campus that have been tasked with analyzing trends and taking action to improve IU’s community by 2030.

  • IU Freshman Induction Ceremony Video – Roles: Editor, VO Supervisor

    • This video acted as a montage of different experiences incoming IU students are promised with the question of, “What is a Hoosier?” at the core of the project.

  • Sounds of Campus: IU Winter Message – Roles: Camera & Sound Recordist

    • An ASMR-like video that serves as a farewell to students from the Provost before their winter break.
